Back to School Dinner

This is our second annual back to school dinner, only this year it had to be a "back to school lunch" because Rick had to be out of town the night before the first day of school. I love this little tradition and it gets Madi excited for school. The fancy plates and stemware come out for this occasion and a few little homemade decorations as well. We do it up big time to gear up for another fun year!

This Year's Menu Included:

Chicken Pie
Baked Mac & Cheese
Green Beans
Brussel Sprouts (oddly enough one of Madi's favorite vegetables)
Cream Corn
Yeast Rolls with Cinnamon Butter

and for dessert... Sundae Pie - Yum!

She also gets her back to school outfit during dinner. Every year the pressure is on for me to pick out something that she deems cool enough! I think I scored big this year - check out the pink Chuck Taylors!
